Maipo Valley is the most traditional wine growing region in Chile, and therefore most of its vines are very old. The stony and clay rich soils and the considerable temperature difference between day and night (characteristic at this altitude), contribute in the production of complex, deeply coloured vines of great structure and round tannins, perfect for yielding Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
