Spanish for “Black Island”, Isla Negra is not actually an island at all, though the distinct geography of this curious and exceptional place makes it appear so from afar.

Isla Negra, a small seaside village located some 130 kilometers (80 miles) southwest of Santiago, is known for being one of the most beautiful and enchanting spots on Chile´s central coast.
